    HITLER'S AUTOBIOGRAPHY-MEIN KEMPF

Hitler's Autobiography, written in Landsberg prison after the putsch and exceeded in popularity by only the Bible.

English translation: My Struggle or My Fight) is the signature work of Adolf Hitler, combining elements of autobiography with an exposition of Hitler's political ideology of Nazism. Volume 1 of Mein Kampf was published in 1925, with volume 2 in 1926.[1]
In Mein Kampf, Hitler makes a biographical account of his life and also describes plans for German-allied countries to rule Europe, along a racist worldview of white supremacy with Aryans as the master race at the top and Jews at the bottom: Germany would re-arm and join Britain and Italy as allies to defeat France and Eastern Europe, eventually overthrowing the Soviet Union to conquer the so-called "twin evils" of Communism and Judaism, giving Germany Lebensraum (living-space) to the east.
In Mein Kampf, Hitler uses the main thesis of "The Jewish peril", which speaks of an alleged Jewish conspiracy to gain world leadership and also warns against the French. Overall, however, it does explain many details of Hitler's childhood and the process by which he became increasingly anti-Semitic and militaristic, especially during his years in Vienna, Austria. In one early chapter, he wrote about how for the first time in the city streets he noticed distinctively dressed Jews unlike those he already knew and then asked himself "Was that a German?" rather than "Was that a Jew?"

THE GOD OF SMALL THINGS - Arundati Roy(an INDIAN PRIDE)

The God of Small Things (1997) is a semi-autobiographical, politically charged novel by Indian author Arundhati Roy. It is a story about the childhood experiences of a pair of fraternal twins who become victims of circumstance. The book is a description of how the small things in life build up, translate into people's behavior and affect their lives. The book won the Booker Prize in 1997.

The God of Small Things is Roy's first book, and as of 2006, is her only novel. Completed in 1996, the book took four years to write. The quality of the writing was first recognized by Pankaj Mishra, an editor with HarperCollins, who sent it to three British publishers. Roy received half-a-million pounds (approx. $970,000 USD) in advances, and rights to the book were sold in 21 countries.

    SIDNEY SHELDON COLLECTION

Sidney Sheldon (February 11, 1917 – January 30, 2007) was an American writer who won awards in three careers—a Broadway playwright, a Hollywood TV and movie screenwriter, and a best-selling novelist. His TV works spanned a 20-year period during which he created I Dream of Jeannie (1965-70), Hart to Hart (1979-84), and The Patty Duke Show (1963-66), but it was not until after he turned 50 and began writing best-selling novels such as Master of the Game (1982), The Other Side of Midnight (1973) and Rage of Angels (1980) that he became most famous.

    C.S. Lewis
    The Chronicles Of Narnia
The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of seven fantasy novels for children written by C. S. Lewis. It is considered a classic of children's literature and is the author's best-known work, having sold over 100 million copies in 41 languages. Written by Lewis between 1949 and 1954 and illustrated by Pauline Baynes, The Chronicles of Narnia have been adapted several times, complete or in part, for radio, television, stage, and cinema.
The series contains many allusions to traditional Christian ideas, presented in a format designed to make them easily accessible to younger readers; however, the books can also be read purely for their adventure, colour, and richness of ideas, and as a result have become favourites of children and adults, Christians and non-Christians alike. (They had, for example, considerable success in their Israeli Hebrew translation.) In addition to employing Christian themes, Lewis also borrows characters and ideas from Greek and Roman mythology, as well as from traditional British and Irish fairy tales.
The Chronicles of Narnia present the adventures of children who play central roles in the unfolding history of the fictional realm of Narnia, a place where animals talk, magic is common, and good battles evil. Each of the books (with the exception of The Horse and His Boy) feature as their protagonists children from our world who are magically transported to Narnia, where they are called upon to help the lion Aslan set some wrong to right.

Description: The book starts with a disclaimer, “This is not a book to teach you how to get into IIT or even how to live in college. In fact, it describes how screwed up things can get if you don’t think straight.” Three hostelmates – Alok, Hari and Ryan get off to a bad start in IIT – they screw up the first class quiz. And while they try to make amends, things only get worse. It takes them a while to realize: If you try and screw with the IIT system, it comes back to double screw you. Before they know it, they are at the lowest echelons of IIT society. They have a five-point-something GPA out of ten, ranking near the end of their class. This GPA is a tattoo that will remain with them, and come in the way of anything else that matters – their friendship, their future, their love life. While the world expects IITians to conquer the world, these guys are struggling to survive.

Macbeth, by William Shakespeare, Presented by Paul W. Collins
Macbeth, by William Shakespeare, Presented by Paul W. Collins
    by Paul W. Collins
This is a novelization of the play incorporating Shakespeare’s dialogue – no footnotes! At the end of a violent Scottish insurrection, three mischievous agents of Fate tempt a valiant warrior who in times of peace has been an unprincipled thane, a nobleman eager to rise, but reluctant to create political opportunity by criminal means. His ambitious wife is not so hesitant – she demands that he act, and the pair’s conniving soon bears its fruits – and consequences. Living in luxury, the deadly couple are haunted: she, tormented by nightmarish guilt, he, sleepless, and driven to violent action in hopes of altering the dismal destiny prophesied for him. Macbeth’s extravagance and increasingly malevolent actions arouse fear, then stir resistance, bringing Scotland’s nobility to the verge of civil war. Always bold, he is fearless after again listening to the ‘witches’. As have many others, after seizing power and exerting it ruthlessly, he comes to believe he’s invincible. Only the impossible, it seems, could defeat Macbeth – but his patriotic opponents must try.

Java is a programming language originally developed by Sun Microsystems and released in 1995. Java applications are typically compiled to bytecode, although compilation to native machine code is also possible. At runtime, bytecode is usually either interpreted or compiled to native code for execution, although direct hardware execution of bytecode by a Java processor is also possible.
The language, widely considered to be the most popular platform for web development, derives much of its syntax from C and C++ but has a simpler object model and fewer low-level facilities. JavaScript, a scripting language, shares a similar name and has similar syntax, but is not directly related to Java.
Sun Microsystems provides an open source implementation of a Java compiler and Java virtual machine and most of the class library in compliance with the specifications of the Java Community Process, available under the terms of the GNU General Public License.
